I have been asked to convert about a half dozen Saiga 12's for a couple of customers. They have left it up to me what to put on them a few will be SBS. I will start by converting them to standard AK style pistol grip and folding stock.
I am trying to find out what options to use to make them most apealing to the largest number of people. Should I use the ACE stock or something else? Forend and pistol grip choice? Galile bolt handle?
I have thought about putting a picatinni rail on top of the gas system with a Trueglo bead on the end of the rail.
I will be using the standard Saiga 12 riveted trigger guard and safety stop because it looks correct unlike the welded ones. All extra woles will be welded up and dressed off. Should I parkerize, blue or paint them (personally I hate paint).
If anyone would like their Saigas converted while I am doing a batch let me know.
