Hi to all, I work for a small gun shop in Idaho and we have a class 3 SOT FFL and are wanting to liquidate our inventory of silencers and 3 post 86 dealers samples sub guns. Our license expires on July 31 and we want to let it go. I will be contacting ATF NFA regulatory to also get guidance but just thought I'd check here first. The individual that handled most of the NFA transactions at our shop is gone and we just want to get our ducks in a row.
1. What needs to be done to sell our existing stock of silencers to another local class 3? Just a book to book transfer?
2. Can we transfer our existing silencers that are pending approval and stamps to another class 3 dealer?
3. how do we transfer our Post 86 dealer sample sub guns to another SOT with LE letter? What form is it done on? Can we tran safer to another SOT dealer with an LE letter out of state?
4. We have a PKM and two Noveske N4 M16s, if we parted the Noveske's out can we destroy the lowers with ATF approval? I think the PKM will sell easy enough if priced right.
I appreciate all help we have plenty of time all the pending cans will be gone before July 31 so we just have to get rid of the remaining stock and sub guns.
